Call for proposals: Secure File System

Free Press Unlimited is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals to set up a digital Secure File System for a collective of journalists.

This Call for Proposals is to set up an online file sharing system with exchange, storage and search functionality. This will allow a group of remotely working journalists to work more secure and enhance their remote collaboration efforts when digitally sharing (highly) sensitive documentation.

Free Press Unlimited is looking for a partner that can select and set up an existing solution, and customise and tailor it to the needs of the journalists.

The assignment is two-fold:

  • January / February 2022: Customisation + installation of a Secure File System (SFS)

  • March 2022: Tech support related to development of protocols and training on how to use the SFS

Details on the assignment with the technical/security and functionality requirements for the Secure File System and the tech support provision, can be found here:

Interested parties are invited to submit a proposal when they meet the criteria and follow the submission instructions. Especially those that are interested in the provision of continued tech support to the client for which this SFS is created, are encouraged to apply; the collective of journalists will be your future client for the next 5-10 years.

Deadline for submission: 5 December 2021, 11.59 PM CET

Interested parties can submit questions about this Call for Proposals up to 21 November, by sending them to verbeek@freepressunlimited.org
