After the attack on the offices of French publication Charlie Hebdo, German artist Susanne Köhler in 2015 started making portraits of murdered and persecuted journalists.
Since then, a number of artists have joined her. With the portraits they create, they pay tribute to the "heroes of press freedom".
The portraits will be on display in the Netherlands for the first time. After Free Press Live on November 2, they will be on exhibit at press centre Nieuwspoort, the Hague, from November 5-16.
