Free Press Unlimited is happy to announce our LIVECAST session on 3 May: World Press Freedom Day in which we highlight the resilience of journalism duringCOVID-19.

Since 15 April we have been co-organising Emerging Stories every Wednesday: a livecast to discuss how we can continue being informed during COVID-19. On this year's World Press Freedom Day, with the theme 'Journalism without fear or favour', we organise this special edition of Emerging Stories, where Dutch photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen has a conversation with international (photo)journalists about how media are proving their resilience within an increasingly complex media landscape, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Guests in this livecast will be Carlos Fernando Chamorro, the founder and editor of our Nicaraguan partner Confidencial, Step Vaessen, journalist and Al-Jazeera English correspondent and Jantine van Herwijnen, senior programme coordinator on safety at Free Press Unlimited.

Watch the livecast on Sunday 3 May at 4.00pm (CET) on our homepage. Or join the conversation and ask questions by tuning in via Zoom.
