The genocide in Gaza

As Israel continues to bomb Gaza relentlessly, we are losing more and more sight of what is actually happening. Never before have so many journalists been killed: at least 237* since 7 October 2023. The term ‘war’ no longer reflects the scale or severity of the violence Israel is using in Gaza. This violence is highly specific, large-scale, and systematic, and it is directed at the civilian population. The violence perpetrated by Israel meets all the characteristics of genocide. In this dossier you will find updates on the situation for journalists in Gaza, and what we are doing to support journalists and access to information during this genocide.
